Ocean Wind 1 Submits Project Permits to NJ Department of Environmental Protection

MEDIA STATEMENT
“Today, we are pleased to confirm that Ocean Wind 1 has submitted its project permits to the NJ Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) – marking another critical and exciting milestone for the project. The submission starts a months-long review period by the NJDEP that includes opportunities for the public to offer comments on the state’s first offshore wind project. Our team has been working for several years to develop the project, including talking to stakeholders, conducting field research, and creating plans that fully outline our permitting needs and our vision for Ocean Wind 1. We look forward to continued dialogue about the benefits of our project for New Jersey residents. We are excited and ready to enter this next phase of planning,” said Maddy Urbish, Head of Government Affairs & Policy, NJ, Ørsted, and Kate Gerlach, Director of Offshore Wind Development, PSEG.
